Year 4 of this incredible coffee and year 5 working with Javier. This coffee is just a perfect daily drinker and crowd pleaser.
Javier is extremely passionate about specialty coffee and loves being surrounded by nature. He went to university in the city as a young adult as many farmer’s children are doing these days. He studied technical engineering and works as an advisor for companies all around the country, but mainly near the larger cities, during the week. When he isn’t doing his consultant work, he is back at home in Santa Maria and on the farm helping his father produce specialty coffee off of their farm.
We are pleased to work with Javier and Alfonso for a third consecutive year. In addition to this washed we also have a natural version, anaerobic, and a honey. Their farm, Cedral is quickly becoming one of our favorite relationships.
Such a warm and inviting cup. It is truly like a oatmeal raisin cookie with chocolate chips. How can you go wrong? Sweet, smooth, and only moderate acidity. We are in love.
